Our Sunday School Mission Statement: "Show Jesus, Love Others"
In
Sunday School, we strive toward this mission statement
through the following values:
-
Fun: Kids at Rejoice! Sunday Church School
laugh, smile, play, think, challenge, sing, and want
to invite their friends.
-
Safety: Kids at R! SCS feel welcome and
physically, emotionally, and spiritually safe.
They can trust and freely love their fellow students
and adult friends.
-
Child-Targeted Lessons: Kids of every age
at R! SCS are engaged and believe each lesson was
made just for them.
-
Creative and Interactive Bible Teaching:
Kids experience, rather than just hear about,
the Bible, our holy Scripture.
-
Discipleship: Kids learn from, appreciate,
and look up to the adults and older kids they meet
at R! SCS.
Sunday
School is offered at the following times:
-
8:00 am: 3 years old to 6th grade; Junior and Senior
High
-
9:30 am: 3 years old to 6th grade; Junior and Senior
High
-
11:00 am: 3 years old to 6th grade; Junior and
Senior High
Classes begin in September on the Sunday after Labor
Day, and end in May on the Sunday after Mother's Day. No
classes are held on Christmas, New Year's or Easter.
All children are welcome;
if you are new to Rejoice!, just ask someone at the Welcome Center and they will assist you in finding
the right Sunday School classroom.
Christmas Program Information
Put it on your calendars!
Our Sunday Church School children will
present Christmas programs on two different dates in 2007:
Wednesday, December
12, 6:00-6:30 p.m.: Christmas program for the
8:00 & 11:00 Sunday services
Wednesday, December
19, 6:00-6:30 p.m.: Christmas program for the
9:30 Sunday service
All children will need to be at the
church by no later than 5:40 p.m. on the Wednesday of their
performance.
If your family is unable to attend one
Wednesday you may attend the other Wednesday.
Also note that this program is before,
and not in lieu of, the normally-scheduled Advent worship services.

3 years old to Kindergarten
Even
children 3 to 5 years old have plenty of activities at
Rejoice!. In addition to Sunday Church School, these children
participate in our Wednesday evening programming
as well as our Summer programs
such as R! Camp.
If you have any
questions about activities for your child at Rejoice!
call Pastor Brad at
334-1999.
Vacation Bible School
(a.k.a. R! Camp 2008)
9 a.m. - Noon
Monday, June 23 - Friday,
June 27, 2008
3 y.o.* through 6th Grade
At this year’s R! Camp kids will be
thrilled as Rejoice! is transformed into SonWorld—the
adventure park where they encounter Jesus. When you go
to a theme park you need to make decisions, and those
decisions can make for a fantastic (or sickening) day.
This year our kids will experience nothing but good
times as they learn about the excitement Jesus gave to
people who chose to look for him.
R! Camp will run from 9:00 a.m. to
noon on Monday, June 23 through Friday, June 27, 2008.
Children 3 years* through 6th
grade can register as participants in R! Camp.
Registration is $15 per child, with a total
cost-per-family not to exceed $45. Adults, children and
youth 7th-12th grade may also sign
up to help in a number of different ways.
Download your registration forms for R! Camp 2008 today.
(*3 year olds must have turned 3 by October 15, 2007.)
